Our Dogs – Family for Life
The wellbeing of our dogs is at the heart of everything we do. From their very first days, we share our lives with them, and it’s a joy to watch each puppy grow into a confident, unique adult dog.
Daily Care and Wellbeing
Every dog is an individual, and we honor their unique personalities. Some love attention and human contact, while others prefer a calmer environment. We make sure each dog can live a life that suits them — safely, happily, and with the care and respect they deserve.
Raising and Training
Training begins at an early age. The puppies are socialized with people, other dogs, and different environments. As they grow, they learn essential skills such as getting used to wearing a harness. Around the age of one, they experience their very first run in a sled team — always an exciting and joyful moment.
A Role for Everyone in the Team
Within the team, every dog has a role:
-
Lead dogs guide the team and make important decisions.
-
Strong pullers provide the power and drive.
-
Versatile all-rounders can run in any position.
Our job is to help each dog find the place where they shine.
Sled Dog Racing – Our Passion
Each year, we participate in both national and international long-distance sled dog races, such as Lapland Quest, Pasvik Trail, Gold Rush Run, and Finnmarksløpet. Our race team includes experienced dogs as well as promising young athletes who are growing into future leaders.
A Home for Life
Every one of our dogs is equally loved. That’s why all of them stay with us for their entire lives. As they grow older, we make sure they get the right amount of exercise, stimulation, and affection. Some enjoy spending time with guests, soaking up cuddles, while others remain eager workers well into their senior years.
In our pack, every dog is part of the family — for life.
